The Miyupimaatisiiun Center is pleased to welcome Melanie Neeposh as the new Coordinator - Awash Uschiniichisuu Waswanipi CMC.
Melanie is a professional with reliable skills in strategic planning and project management. She has been with the Cree of Health since 2019, where she works as a coordinator, administrative services - CMC, Oujebougoumou.
Melanie has developed excellent skills in instilling confidence, counseling, and empowering administrative staff through her knowledge of employee procedures and human rights law in the workplace.
Previously, Melanie was the Coordinator of the Indigenous Resource Center at the University of Ottawa. In this role, she implemented social and cultural activities to support Indigenous students' access to the Indigenous Resource Centre.
Melanie holds a BA in Political Science Pre-Law from the University of Lakehead, Thunder Bay, ON.
She will take up her position on January 8, 2024.
