Cree Health Board Mourns the Death of Daisy Benjamin

Daisy Benjamin, a former employee of the Cree Board of Health who retired in 2017, passed away in Chisasibi on September 26, 2023. Daisy worked for CBH in various positions for 37 years.

She held the position of Interpreter Officer, which later became Attendant in the Northern Establishment in 2007. She remained in this position until her retirement.
Daisy was one of the first interpreters for Cree patients in Montreal. She served CBH wholeheartedly. She had a reputation for professionalism and helpfulness, and her positive attitude will always be in our memory.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Miss Daisy Benjamin.
