PREVENTIVE MEASURES
- The CBHSSJB is coordinating the transfer of clients requiring hemodialysis and aircrafts are being made available to transfer patients and transport resources, as needed.
- Water is being tested regularly to ensure quality before resuming hemodialysis treatments and other needs in community.
- The Infection Prevention and Control Team has implemented temporary hygiene measures for patient care across CBHSSJB locations.
We kindly ask for your cooperation in conserving water by avoiding non-essential water use and reducing the amount of water used for cooking, bathing and showering, brushing teeth, hand-washing, laundry, washing dishes, housecleaning, gardening, and more.
The CBHSSJB recognizes this situation can be worrying, but encourages community members to support one another until the situation is resolved and thanks employees working hard to maintain services during these difficult times.
