Our hearts are with the families and communities grieving the recent tragedy near Natashquan. The loss is deeply felt, and we extend our most sincere condolences to all those affected.
At the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay, we are guided by the values that define Eeyou Istchee — respect, compassion, and the strength of community. These principles shape how we care for one another, especially in moments of collective sorrow.
This event has touched many lives. We stand with those who mourn, recognizing the pain carried across communities, and we offer our heartfelt support to the families and loved ones of those lost.
On behalf of our organization, I offer our solidarity, our compassion, and our commitment to walk with you through this time of grief. May the memory of those who have passed bring strength, and may healing come gently to all who are hurting.
