The Assistant Director of Youth Healing is pleased to welcome Stacy Anderson as the Coordinator of the Youth Healing Centre – Girls and YCJA Units.
Stacy will oversee the planning, organization, and supervision of the services and programs within the Youth Healing. She will report to the Assistant Director of the Youth Healing Services.
She brings a wealth of experience to her new role at the CBHSSJB Previously, she served in a variety of roles including Planning Programming and Research Officer, Project Development Officer, and Coordinator of Youth Programs and Development. Her extensive background includes developing and implementing programs, managing staff, coordinating events, and building partnerships with regional and local entities.
Her diverse skills in administration, team management, critical thinking and problem solving, along with her fluency in Cree and English, positions her well to excel in this new role.
Stacy holds a B.A. in Psychology from Carleton University and an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work from Algonquin College.
She began her new role on August 26th.
On March 6, 2020, the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay and the Cree Nation Government inaugurated the new Youth Healing Services Centre for Eeyou Istchee in Mistissini.
