Robin’s Nest celebrates 4-year anniversary in Waswanipi
Staff at Robin's Nest in Waswanipi held their 4-year anniversary event on Wednesday, October 13th. Community members were invited for a visit of the facility to meet the team and get familiar with the services they provide.
Elders also joined the celebrations for storytelling, providing background on the meaning behind the name Pîpîchâu Uchistûn. The team also hosted a sharing circle on domestic violence to close the event.
It was also a good opportunity for the team to connect with the community and reiterate their mission. The CBHSSJB would like to thank our colleagues for making our communities safer and for investing their energy into those healing spaces.
