Miyupimaatisiiun Department welcomes Deborah Wapachee, Coordinator, Administrative Unit, Nemaska CMC
Deborah has dedicated her career to the Cree Nation of Nemaska for numerous years.
She has held increasingly responsible positions in the administration, including as the Director of Culture & Special Projects/Culture Coordinator (2010-2019) and most recently as Interim Director of Social Development.
Deborah has also worked as an auxiliary officer, local administrator for income security and as an employment officer, acquiring a wide range of practical skills and knowledge. In 2008, she was elected Youth Chief for Nemaska, a role she held for three years. She has also earned numerous professional certificates, including Budgeting, Project Management, Leadership Training and Peacekeeping.
Deborah started her duties on October 12, 2021.
