Jonathan Girard-Saganash will replace Luc Laforest, the current Director of Capital Projects, upon his retirement in March.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has consistently shown his ability to lead large teams, implement quality control systems, manage construction projects, and develop clear action plans. His diverse skill set enables him to adapt to evolving project requirements and implement innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jonathan has made significant contributions to his community through volunteer work and social initiatives. He is the founding president of the "Programme des Centres polyvalents des jeunes autochtones en milieu urbain," a model for the Association of Friendship Centres, and a youth and sports volunteer. He has continually worked to uplift and empower those around him.

Armed with a technical diploma in civil engineering and certifications in web programming and development, Jonathan has successfully managed complex projects across various sectors. He has served as a project manager for esteemed organizations such as the Cree First Nation of Waswanipi, the Cree Regional Economic Enterprise Company, and S.M. Group International Inc., consistently leading teams to deliver infrastructure, environmental, and community development projects effectively.

Jonathan joined the team on January 6th to ensure a smooth transition before the incumbent Director of Capital Projects retires.
