COVID-19 outbreak linked to Le Pub Royal in Chibougamau has been reported

Anyone who visited the restaurant between Thursday, August 19 and Saturday, August 21, is advised to go for a COVID test at their CMC. 

If you are not having any symptoms, and you have not been contacted by public health, you can continue your normal activities even as you await your test result. If you are having symptoms, please stay home until your test result is available.

More than 30 people in Eeyou Istchee have already responded to the call to seek a screening test after visiting Pub Royal during one of the affected days.

There have not been any positive results so far.

Anyone who visited the pub between Thursday, August 19 and Saturday, August 21, and who has not yet sought a test, is advised to get tested for COVID-19 by calling their local CMC. Screening tests can also be done in Chibougamau.
