Celebrating National Medical Laboratory Week in Quebec!

From April 13 to 19, we honor Quebec’s medical technologists for their essential role in our healthcare system. These frontline professionals, often working behind the scenes, play a crucial part in diagnosing diseases. In fact, 85% of diagnoses are based on the analyses they perform.

It's vital to promote the profession of medical technologists and highlight the importance of their work. Within the Cree Health Board, we proudly operate two laboratories where 13 dedicated professionals strive to ensure accurate and timely results.

Additionally, our three Class B technologists play a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of our labs, ensuring everything runs efficiently. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them, including our Cree colleagues, for their unwavering support and commitment.

This week is the perfect occasion to acknowledge their essential contributions and to thank these dedicated professionals for their commitment and expertise.
