Cassandra Danyluk, Assistant Director – Public Health Proximity
The Director of Public Health is pleased to welcome is delighted to welcome Cassandra Danyluk as the new Assistant Director of Public Health Proximity.
Cassandra transitions to this role from her previous position as Coordinator of Development and Partnerships at the Cree School Board in Wemindji. There, she crafted a comprehensive stakeholder engagement framework for capital projects and other strategic initiatives, fostering active collaboration among stakeholders and partners. Cassandra brings a wealth of experience from her various managerial roles across Cree organizations, where she has developed skills in leadership, financial analysis, program planning and coordination, and stakeholder management.
As Assistant Director, Cassandra will oversee the planning, recruitment, and management of financial and human resources dedicated to local Public Health initiatives. She will also be engaged in the organization, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of all public health programs and activities.
Cassandra holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, where she was awarded the Smith School of Business MBA Indigenous Scholarship for the 2023 cohort.
She also completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University in Ottawa.
