Here are some tips to protect your head when you are out riding your bike, playing sports or driving your off-road vehicles:

  • Wear your helmet
  • Obey traffic signs
  • Use a headlight and reflectors after dark
  • Watch where you’re going
  • Look both ways before crossing the street
  • Watch out for cars and make sure the drivers also see you
  • Don’t ride where it’s not safe

The Cree Health Board is teaming up with the Cree Nation Government and the Cree Nation Youth Council to increase awareness about the importance of protecting your head while you are doing activities.
