Marie-Christine Demers, Regional Coordinator - Medical Archives
The Medical Archives Department is pleased to announce the nomination of Marie-Christine Demers as the new Regional Coordinator.
Marie-Christine is a professional with strong organizational skills and solid knowledge of the healthcare network, as well as clinical and administrative information tools.
She comes to the Cree Board of Health from the CIUSSS Centre-Sud-de-l'Île-de-Montréal, where she has worked for the past seven years as the Head of department. In this role, Marie-Christine has successfully set up archives department when hospital Notre-Dame was transferred from CHUM to CIUSSS Centre-Sud-de-l'Île-de-Montreal.
Her accomplishments also include the implementation of digitization of the Cristal Net and the Implementation of the OACIS computerized medical record system.
Marie-Christine is known for her leadership skills, as well as her Analytical and synthesis skills
of information. Her reputation precedes her for her "solution mode" approach, which speaks volume about her ability to take on challenges and effectively lead teams from diverse backgrounds.
Marie-Christine completed a micro programme in Health and Social Services at the Université de Laval. To broaden her knowledge in the same field, she is currently completing another micro programme in Information Technology at the same university.
Marie-Christine will start on July 22nd.
