The Program Development and Support group oversees the planning and development of regional initiatives under the following sub-units:
Supporting people with disabilities who experience significant and persistent limitations as a result.

Maanuuhiikuu offers culturally safe mental health services that follow two healing paths: a traditional approach and a clinical approach.
Healthy women having a normal pregnancy can choose to be followed by a midwife based in Chisasibi.
Eeyou Istchee’s two Robin’s Nest shelters offer a safe haven for women and children experiencing domestic violence.
These programs and services are delivered in close coordination with other departments of the CBHSSJB and other Cree entities.
