Gathering on Intergenerational Trauma
MAANUUHIIKUU ᒫᓅᐦᐄᑰ – MENTAL HEALTH
This event will provide a platform for collective understanding, discussion, and progress towards healing from the effects of intergenerational trauma. It aims to offer support and resources.
All communities are welcome to this gathering hosted by the Maanuuhiikuu Department of the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay, in collaboration with the Cree Women of Eeyou Istchee Association (CWEIA) and experts in the field, including Dr Joseph Beltempo, Rachelle Lamb and Dennis Wendigo.
The event, focused community well-being and education, is FREE and open to everyone aged 14 and above.
