We are extremely grateful and happy to see that this event is generating so much interest, we were surprised to see so many requests to participate. For logistical and organizational reasons, the number of places is limited and we will contact participants as soon as possible. However, we are moved by your enthusiasm and will do our best to organize similar events in the future.
Using Trauma Focus Orientation approach in resolving personal trauma, this land-based retreat aims to address the root causes that lead to substance abuse and addictions in people. The land-based retreat will also use cultural and traditional approaches to healing, an opportunity to learn about sweatlodges, traditional medicine, etc. This project is sponsored in partnership between the Miskasowin Healing Lodge and the Nishiiyuu Miyupimaatisiiun Department of the CBHSSJB, along with the Niwakomakanak Organization.
TEAM LEADER:
Jules Inishinapay Tapas and his team of Traditional Healers will be facilitating workshops and therapeutic services.
