The Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB) wishes to respond to certain concerns relating to the 2024 election of the CBHSSJB Chairperson in view of the Returning Officer, John Henry Wapachee, being the brother of one of the candidates, Bertie Wapachee (current Chairperson of the CBHSSJB).
Public Note to Address Concerns Relating to Perception of Conflict of Interest.
ELECTION CANDIDATES (the 2nd run-off)
The polling hours are set from 9am to 9pm on this CBHSSJB Run-Off Election in all communities and other locations ; except for Quebec City travelling poll and Gatineau polling stations, because of building regulations, the polling hours will be shorten and will open from 9am to 7pm. This run-off election poll will be held in person, as set out below.
