We are currently looking for nurses
 Centre de santé de Chisasibi (Medecine, emergency, hemodialysis and CMC)
 Enlarged role
 Wiichihiituwin (Cree patients services)

Requirements

 Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q ;
 Minimum of two (2) years of experience ;
 Experience in critical care for enlarged role functions ;
 Experience in different sectors for the hospital ;
 Fluent in English

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION :

• Remoteness premium : $162,59/week without dependant or $260,12/week with dependant and according to the community;
• Retention premium : $268.30/week;
• Enlarged role premium : $186/week if clinician;
• Cargo premium;
• Accommodation provided- Furnished, heat and electricity included;
• Moving and storage expenses paid;
• Three (3) to four (4) annual sorties depending on family status;
• Group insurance plan;
• Defined-benefit pension plan (RREGOP);

*Employees of the health and social services network may request unpaid leave to work in a northern institution (up to 48 months).

Life in Eeyou Istchee

We are the Cree of Eeyou Istchee. We call ourselves Eeyou and Eenou. Our name means simply “the people”. Clients of the CBHSSJB include the almost 18,000 people residing in the nine Cree communities and scattered throughout the territory at hunting camps, mine sites, hydro-electric installations and logging camps.

The best way to experience the Cree way of life is by participating in community and cultural activities. Most communities have an ice rink, fitness centre and a gymnasium. Several communities, including Chisasibi, have indoor pools. Ask the Community Health Representative or Community Organizer at the clinic about opportunities to participate in Cree cultural activities such as walking out ceremonies. The region offers some of the world’s best fishing, canoeing, hiking and snowmobiling.
