Northern Operations Centre (NOC)

The NOC is an operation center put in place specifically for CBHSSBJ where all air transportation is managed by a group of people with diversified experience in aviation. 

Our team includes:

• Highly skilled individuals
• Operation Managers 
• Reservation Agents 
• Flight Dispatchers 
• Aviation Contract Specialist 
• Administrative Agent for cost monitoring

NOC’s role:

• Managing all air transportation activities of CBHSSJB
• Dedicated shuttle (11 flights a week) through the territory
• Transfers on Air Creebec scheduled flights (before COVID)
• Patients, escorts, personnel and doctors
• Dispatching all medical evacuations on a 24/7 basis
• Managing carriers’ contracts

CBHSSJB’s Level of Service objectives:

• Ensures direct flights to Montreal, Val d’Or and Chisasibi
• Guarantees a number of seats: 68 x 2 seats every day 
• Avoids security screening in Dorval
• Facilitates the boarding process
• Lessens the amount of time spent off territory
• Manages expenses to control costs
